Eobd2 Shop has newly launched an advanced S100 Device Programmer. The chart below displays some basic information of the programmer and second part shows quick tutorial guide of using the S100 IC chip programmer. The programmer is controlled by a PC via USB2.0 (high speed) to program a chip.

How to use S-100 S100 IC chip Programmer?

1) Switch on power to the unit and wait for the LED to turn to green

2) Open the program on the desktop

3) Choose device you wish to program by clicking on device icon

4) Select appreciate manufacture and device name

5) Program will display that it is ready

6) Place chip in the programmer in the ZIF socket. Pull level to open slots, place in programmer at the button of the slots with pin 1pointing towards level, close slots by moving level to original position

7) Load your program into the buffer. Press the load button and select the file you wish to load into the chip

8) Choose the appreciate file address but leave the buffer address unchanged when the file type window appears

9) Verify your program in the buffer. Press the buffer button. Examine hex code to ensure it matches your program. If you are running a standalone program, ensure that Reset/IRQ vectors are set.

10) Program your chip. Press the program button. LED on device should turn orange, LED will turn green again once programming is complete. If LED turns red then there has been an error and you may need to re-program the chip. This is usually due to the chip not making a complete connection within the programmer socket. The LED will stay red until the next successful operation is complete.

11) When the whole process complete, press the Verify button to ensure that the program has been loaded successfully.

12) Turn off the S100 Device Programmer.
